Brian Utley Prior to Periscope, Utley served as Special Assistant to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and Political Director for Texas for John Sharp. As a director at Temerlin McClain Advertising, he worked with multiple companies and political organizations forming and implementing their communication objectives. In recent years, Utley had been involved in spearheading private business and real estate acquisitions. As Periscope Holding's President and CEO, Brian handles the company's strategic operations, investor relations and manages high profile sales. He is credited with recent sales to the City of New Orleans, the State of New Jersey and the City of Baltimore. Utley serves multiple community service organizations including serving as a board member on the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation (TNFF) and the Busby Foundation (serving those suffering from ALS). He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization. Utley has a BS in Political Science from the University of Texas - Dallas.
Before joining Utley to form Periscope, Walters worked with Ambac Connect as a Managing Director for Electronic Commerce Products, helping the company formulate and execute strategies to deliver eProcurement solutions to state and local governments. In this role, he provided product development input for the BuySpeed, BuyBoard and iBidBoard products. He also worked to execute two statewide e-procurement projects and forge relationships with key strategic and channel partners. Walters began his career in 1989 with Andersen Consulting, focusing primarily in consumer products and retail businesses such as Sysco Foods, AutoNation USA, WorldBook Finance and Avondale-Gulfport Marine. As part of his responsibilities, he also conducted research for Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Microsoft, Ford Europe, Telecom Italia, Harley Davidson, Samsung and other world-leading organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Mississippi State University.
Since 2001, Greg has used his 20+ years of experience in developing software and managing technology projects to help develop and manage Periscope's technical resources. In addition, he is also responsible for Customer Support and Product Development of Periscope's software product offerings. Greg will be applying his many years of experience consolidating and balancing technology project deliverables, product development and customer product support. Prior to Periscope, Greg helped establish several product and consulting service organizations focused specifically for the public sector. He was Managing Partner of these organizations and was instrumental in the day-to-day operations in addition to their product and services delivery. From 1994 - 1997, Greg worked as a technology consultant for TRW working for State and Local government entities. He worked directly with clients providing support, maintenance, enhancements, and implementation recommendations for their mainframe and client based applications He has a BBS in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Chris joined Periscope in July of 2005 to lead the Professional Services group. His responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of services to clients related to all BuySpeed implementations and upgrades. These services include project management, product review and modification design, business process and policy redesign, training, and go-live support. In addition, Chris leads a team in delivering consulting services to clients focused on improving operations in management and administrative processes, with a focus on procurement optimization. Before joining Periscope, Chris was a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting's Public Sector Strategy and Operations practice, serving such varied clients as state agencies, cities, counties, water/wastewater utilities, electric utilities, and school districts. Chris also worked for a number of years for the State of Texas, including stints with the Office of the Governor, House of Representatives, and the state's environmental regulatory agency. Kennedy has a BA in Political Sciences from Trinity University and Master of Public Affairs/Master of Arts in Latin American studies degrees from the University of Texas at Austin Pat Stutz Pat came to Periscope Holdings from Sage Software where she spent 10 years in management positions. The last position held was Manager, Corporate Services where she managed 13 locations across the US and Canada. Prior to this position, Pat held the title Director of Operations where she oversaw the Human Resources, Facilities and Customer Care functions playing a strategic role in completing two acquisitions and then transitioning those companies into the mainstream of the division. Pat is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia Mark Waldschmidt Mark's has more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise business management software industry working with: the Fortune 500; not-for-profit organizations; and municipal, state, and federal government. Mark's past positions include: President and CEO of Mitchell Humphrey & Co., a St. Louis-based ERP software company serving both the private and public sector; Vice President of Government Solutions at Serenic Software, a public sector financial and revenue management software publisher headquartered in Denver; and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Information Development Consultants, a Chicago-based government ERP software vendor focused on the Software as a Service market. Waldschmidt has been a speaker at numerous government conferences and events across the country. Mark, a Certified Public Accountant, graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
