Following the devastation of hurricane Katrina, the City of New Orleans fully implemented BuySpeed eProcurement and cut purchasing costs by more than $1.25 million in 2007. This resulted from reducing the cost per bid from $3,360 to $1,126 and reducing the cost per purchase order from $80 to $9. Click here for more details.
